It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update here—my last one was back in September. While I’ve been quieter online, I haven’t stopped moving.

I’ve stayed consistent with strength training, Pilates, and Zwift, and I’ve felt that work pay off in everyday ways. Hiking has been improving, and I even got to test my progress on the trails in Kauai, including hikes in Nā Pali Coast State Park—It was satisfying to finish the hike and not being in pain or discomfort.

More recently, I’ve started easing back into running. Last week, I completed a 3-mile run/walk with a friend, and this week I followed it up with another 3-mile run/walk with the dogs. Nothing speedy—just steady jogging and being grateful for how far I’ve come.
The journey continues and it’s a reminder to me that recovery isn’t linear, and progress doesn’t always need an announcement. Sometimes it’s just about quietly doing the work and letting it add up.
